 EM&A Launches New Cultural Resources Consulting DivisionFriday, October 17, 2008Ecosystem Management & Associates, Inc. (EM&A) has just launched a new consulting division within the firm to provide cultural resources support to Federal and state agencies.
After months of planning and preparation, EM&A won its first project in August 2008 to provide cultural resources support in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
EM&A is assisting the Office of Offshore Alternative Energy Programs (Minerals Management Service) to evaluate the effects of the Cape Wind Energy Project on historic properties and to coordinate consultation between affected parties.
