 EM&A awarded USCG contract in AlaskaWednesday, August 26, 2009The U.S. Coast Guard Office of Incident Management and Preparedness awarded a contract to Ecosystem Management & Associates, Inc. (EM&A) to provide an Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA's) in Alaska. Planning will begin in Fall 2009 but the actual meetings to assess oil spill response topics in the Alaska region will occur in Spring 2010. EM&A has conducted a series of nearly twenty ERAs for the USCG since 1995 in various areas around the continental U.S., Mexican border regions, and Caribbean.
